These Marimo moss balls are very cute, and you get a set of 4. They are a much darker green than I anticipated, and some parts are even darker. One moss ball also arrived split, but I've read somewhere that it is perfectly normal and I can even split them apart for an extra one. Two out of the four were floating for awhile, but eventually sank after a day or two. I like the fact that they are incredibly simple to care for. They just require weekly water changes, that simple. When the moss balls first arrived, they were pretty flat. They were packaged in a small plastic bag which was shipped along with my other Amazon items, so they basically got squashed. They did, however, fluffed up after some rinsing and shaping. I had to gently clean them in a bowl of water which got a bit muddy, so remember to clean yours. Then lightly rolled them in my hands to shape them. Now they are sitting in a jar of marbles which I had lying around. Would need to upgrade their home once they get bigger. Very cute and makes good decor.

They are bendy and easy to mold, but there are no plastic covering the copper wires. So I would be gentle when handling and unwinding the wires as to avoid any breakage.
