The toy is well made, we've played with it for hours while bumping into walls and corners but it's still working and holding up! It takes an hour or 2 to charge the car with the built-in battery, which is good. Don't have to pay extra for batteries, although the remote does use AA batteries which was a given.
The car goes at a fast speed of 15 MPH! It provides a good learning curve for the kids to control it properly without ever bumping into things. What excited my as an adult was that you can pair this with your smartphone, and use it as a controller! I didn't have these functions as a kid so even I was surprised. Controlling the car wasn't difficult but mastering it is. There's a lot of replay value and I'm sure it'll last awhile in the household!
